Meet Mike

Mike is a CPA with a career spanning over 25 years in public accounting. Mike started his career spending 4 years with a national firm followed by over 20 years with a regional firm before joining Strauss & Associates in 2024. Mike brings extensive expertise across many industries working with privately held businesses and their shareholders in real estate, government contracting,  professional services, manufacturing, distribution and many other sectors.  Mike also specializes in working with nonprofit organizations which has allowed him to use his expertise to give back to the community in which he lives and works. Over his career, Mike learned the art of balancing the compliance nature of CPA services with the ability to advise his clients and build long-term relationships.

As CEO of Strauss & Associates, Mike focuses on leading the firm’s strategic direction while continuing to stay hands-on with client engagements. He enjoys watching and guiding the professional development of the firm’s team members while helping clients navigate challenges, improve operations and plan for growth.

Mike enjoys helping his clients understand the complex financial landscape that exists in our current economic environment and using his expertise to support his clients as a trusted advisor and advocate.
