Meet Tim

Tim grew up in Carroll County, Maryland, and began his career in public accounting at Strauss & Associates as an intern in 2013. After focusing on Common Interest Reality Associations (CIRAs) for over a decade, he has developed deep expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance for community associations. Since joining the firm, Tim has earned his CPA license, enhancing his ability to support clients with professionalism and technical accuracy.

As a Director of Community Association Services at Strauss & Associates, Tim specializes in audit and tax preparation services, which he provides to homeowners’ associations, condominium associations, and nearly every other type of community association. Tim is one of the leaders of the firm’s community associations practice, where he works closely with board members and property managers, providing guidance and insight into the complex financial and regulatory matters these organizations face.

Tim is passionate about helping clients better understand their association’s financial and tax situations. He believes that clear communication and accurate financial information empower boards to make confident, informed decisions. Tim takes pride in being a reliable resource and trusted advisor to the communities he serves.
