Meet Shawn

Shawn is a CPA who joined Strauss & Associates in 2011, following a career start with a local property management company. Shawn was hired to work with Common Interest Realty Associations (CIRAs), where he continues to focus today. In that time, he developed a strong expertise in the CIRA industry.

As a Director of Community Association Services, Shawn spends much of his time on the audit side of the practice. He focuses on ensuring the quality of the firm’s audits not only meets but exceeds all technical requirements. Additionally, Shawn builds and supports the firm’s audit strategy to consistently approach all clients, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.

Shawn enjoys providing his clients with a sense of comfort and confidence in their annual financial statements, knowing they receive a quality service from their auditors, which enables them to feel secure in making future financial decisions.
